Director Krug celebrated a lot of fun with Messrs. Arpe, Burkia, Firit, Sachse, Teigel, Wolf and Verena Blankenburg as a female operatic encore. The men, originally in the south stand of a football stadium whispering, singing and bawling, were transported here to a sauna area (equipment: Steigert). (...) The wondrous musical purr with a sensitive theater bandmaster Thomas Voigt on the keyboard instrument captivated those who were willing to hear how accents can be shifted, how great normal actors in Rudolstadt can sing, like songs from a funny van Dannen or Sven Regener and "A Little Nymphomaniac" leads to the flat ground of male rituals. The Rudolstadt theatergoers were enthusiastic about these cover versions, which were not a copy of what had been heard a thousand times, and won encores.
